It's not just having knowledgeable people designing your system. You need someone who gets you the best bang for your buck and then is available to service the system.

Kevin put in a surround system for us six years ago when we moved to the desert. He did an outstanding job and has since then been able to walk me through some things that I needed to understand on the phone rather than coming to the house. Great business model, you get design, sales and installation all from the same local company. The local part may be the most important advantage. Plus there prices are so close to the big box stores that with the best customer service you can get, I would not buy my TV or electronics anywhere else.
